Grandmaster Young Ui Min

Min's Karate Camp Hill Campus is directed by Grandmaster Young Ui Min. He is a 9th degree black belt who has dedicated over 60 years in the study and teaching of the Korean marital arts all across the world. As a competitor, his passion fueled him to 3 consecutive Korean National Tang Soo Do Titles from 1968-1970.  As a Master his wealth of knowledge, skills, and commitment to the arts was universally recognized as he was chosen to be the Master at Osan Air Base, South Korea in 1976.


Grandmaster Young Min established the first Min’s Karate in 1984 in Carlisle, PA. He later opened a second campus in Camp Hill, PA where he still teaches today.

  • 1964 Named Master for the Korean Military Tiger Division
  • 1968-1970 Korean National Tang Soo Do Champion
  • 1976 Named Master for the Korean Osan Air Base
  • 2005 Certified 9th Degree Black Belt by the Moo Duk Kwan Federation
  • 2006 Inducted to the Martial Artist Hall of Fame by the International Martial Arts Association
  • International Tang Soo Do Federation 2007 Martial Artist of the Year
